Where did everybody go?
Overlooked close-to expired bottle

The Ordinary Day for the Bottle, 09.2023-10.2023 (5 weeks)
In my brief, "Where did everybody go?" I explore anthropomorphism by narrating the life of an overlooked, close-to-expiration juice bottle in a supermarket. Targeted at children, the narrative uses human traits to create an emotional connection between the audience and the neglected object, encouraging contemplation on selective choices and untold stories in everyday objects. Drawing on research about emotional connections to objects, I created a cute, human-like juice bottle to evoke relatability and empathy. Following the 12 principles of animation, I used after effects to create the narrative of the bottle's journey from happiness to despair, emphasising the beauty in the ordinary. I developed technical skills, driving my animation practice and storytelling in Graphic Communication Design. The simplicity of the storyline is easy to understand and empathise with.
